How this Site is Going to Bring You More Success in Business and Wealth
Hi, Wilson Lau here, founder of RicheMinds.com. I have successfully generated over $200,000 till date since 2013 from the internet selling products that people want.
I will share with you step by step on how I did it but first, let me share with you my story.
I am an Entrepreneur, Internet Marketer, and Fitness Fanatic.
I created Riche Minds
On Riche Minds, I will do everything in my power to give you the tools, resources and techniques that I have personally used to transform my life and get to where I am now. I hope you can use this site whenever you feel discouraged and want to give up on your dreams and goals, or simply as a leisure reading material. Feel free to comment your thoughts on any posts you find interesting.
Growing up, I was never the smartest kid in the class. I could never seem to get high marks even though I studied hard for any test or exam.
At the age of 14, I wanted to make some extra income for myself as my pocket money was miserably little. I went door-to-door selling ice cream for money but never did I expect that it was so hard to sell even one stick! I was facing rejections 100% at that time, but I told myself that I had to sell at least one pack of ice cream, if not all my efforts would have been wasted. At that time, I was really desperate. I had no choice but to keep on selling, keep on going, knocking on doors one by one.
There were times where I really felt like packing up and just go home, but I told myself “Since I am already here, why not make the best out of it?” All I needed was to get out of my comfort zone and continue to sell. Yes, it was tough, but I have since learn how to handle rejections.
Initially, I didn’t sell much but after doing it consistently, I started to sell all the ice cream inside the boxes and, sometimes, I even have to top-up and continue to sell. During that time, I made an average of $80 for 3 hours. Not too bad for a 14 year-old kid in just one day! In total, I made around $3000 selling ice cream in my school holidays.
However, at that time, I did not have any financial education so I spent all my money on games, food and taxi rides all the time. Frustrations
At the age of 17, I was working as a bellman in Ritz Carlton, a five-star hotel in Singapore. My shift was from 6am-12pm.
Every day, I would wake up at around four-thirty in the morning to get ready to go to work. I was always really tired as a result. One day, the bellman captain instructed me to stand guard at one of the doors as there were enough people to handle the guest luggages.
As I was really sleepy that day, I couldn’t help but constantly yawn. Suddenly, my captain came over and told me to go home as he saw my constant yawning, and was worried it could put on a bad image for the hotel. I was stunned. Who would even bother about a bellman stationed at an obscure doorway like me? I had no choice but to pack my stuff and went back home. On the journey back, I asked myself, “Do I really want this kind of life? Handing over my destiny in someone else’s hands?”
Those questions sparked my motivation to pursue entrepreneurship and kick-started my own Hero’s Journey in life.
In school, I was sitting in one of my lectures and many thoughts ran through my head, “Am I going to continue studying? When will I stop studying? How much can a lecturer earn? How can studying make me successful in life?”
I was a Computer Engineering student, but I realized I wasn’t passionate about what I was studying. So what I did next was to head down to the school library to see if I could find any answers. I hated reading since young but I decided to give it a shot. I picked up this book called “Unfair Advantage” by Robert Kiyosaki, and boy, I got hooked. I realize that this is the kind of knowledge I really needed if I wanted to do well in life.
After that, I started going to my school library every single day to find more books that would teach me what I needed to learn. Day after day, I started to get more knowledge. Slowly, I started to explore other areas such as investing, psychology, brain enhancement, business, self-help and so on. To date, I have consumed hundreds of books, articles, and anything related to personal enrichment. I have since cultivated the habit of reading and I am obsessed!
Currently, I have a mini library in my room and I will be upgrading to a bigger one soon. Eventually, all this insight and knowledge brought me to my passion or hobby, which is Internet Marketing. I have since created my own business empire that I am PASSIONATE about, sharing the techniques and strategies I have gleaned from those personal development books. Anyway, I digress. Let’s get back to the story… The Start of My Internet Business… Rocky Roads Ahead! In 2011, I decided to take the first step learning how to make money online by paying for an online membership by Chris Farrell
Back then, even though I only had $300 left inside my bank account, I still invested most of my money into the membership because I really wanted to make it work so badly. I followed it step by step, writing down notes as and when it’s needed. After 3 months, I had learnt the basics and created a blog (factsonmakingmoneyonline.com – No longer available) to share what I have learnt from Chris. I was also trying to promote his membership since I have gained valuable information from it.
As much as I loved writing posts for the new blog, I fell into the common trap of going into this niche without having any results to show. At that time, I didn’t know what to do. What I know at that time was to keep taking action. I wanted to progress very badly. I wrote 1 post a week consistently, hoping to get more sales every single day but I made less than $100 for the affiliate product sales. 10 months into it, I thought posting more articles was the only way to get more traffic. I was writing consistently and I even used traffic generation strategies such as article marketing, social bookmarking and squidoo lens.
I felt that with the amount of time and effort I had spent, I would certainly see better results. However, I never did. To cut the long story short, I am proud to say that I am finally no longer stuck in the “rat race” – the mundane 8-5 job – and I now have all the time I want to work on my business.

I share this part of my journey in more depth over on the other page.
Moreover, ever since I saw results in 2014,
I started to travel around the world. Here are some photos of my two-week vacation trip last year to Taiwan, Seoul and Tokyo.
I say this not to impress you, but to impress upon you that if I can do it, so can you.
My mission is to help people all over the world lead a better and more successful life. My Passions
Before I got started on my internet business, I was doing freelance modelling events to earn some moolah. I also took part in various contests such as Manhunt Singapore 2012, Top 50 Most Eligible Cleo Bachelor 2013 and also Teenage Gorgeous You
2013. I have an immense passion for fitness and I spend most of my free time going to the gym, running or swimming.
Research has shown that exercising helps to release endorphins which enable us to be more energized and happier. It has allowed me to stay motivated in my business.
The Riche Group My goal is to help as many people grow spiritually, emotionally and physically through my business – The Riche Group – and this website, RicheMinds.com is just one of the many arms of The Riche Group through which I’m reaching out to you.
My sincere hope for Riche Minds is for others to reconnect with their inner self, understand the power of the subconscious mind, and to enable them to discard their limiting beliefs and take action toward their dreams and goals. I strongly believe that our inner world determines our outer world.
If you feel that you are not living a fulfilled life, it simply means that your vibrational energy is stuck at “Low” and you need to get into the state of being where your vibration is “High”. Lastly… It doesn’t matter if you fail or succeed.
The most important things are the learning lessons from those successes and failures. The key is to keep on moving and if you don’t keep moving, you will never improve. As a wise man once said, “A smooth sea doesn’t make a skilled sailor.”
